The Catholic Schools Mystery Skype project encourages the development of map reading and geographical knowledge while integrating technology into the classroom. Using Skype as a vehicle, classes meet and ask each other questions that can be answered Yes or No, and then try to determine where in the world their partner school is located. During the project, students describe, interpret, analyze, and organize their peers answers. At the conclusion of the call, the students exchange information about their school's name and meaning, their school uniform, and share a song or prayer.
If you go to the 2013-2014 link on the right side of the screen, you can see some of the reflections from various schools. The schools who wrote a reflection are highlighted in yellow.
Click HERE to register your class. Once I receive your registration information I will send you an email with next steps.
If you would like to know more about the project, please send an email to Ann Oro at cswmystery@gmail.com.
